Together In Battersea

Together In Battersea, is inspired by the ideas and designs of local Wandsworth residents under the age of 18 who attended a series of workshops at the Power Station in August 2024. During the workshops, the young people learned about architecture and design, sketched out designs and made models of installations out of card.

This colourful installation features seating, a towering sculpture, and a vibrant backdrop. The eye-catching space seeks to create a sense of community at the heart of Battersea Power Station with each element carefully crafted to encourage people to gather, sit, and relax.

Themed around 'Togetherness' and what Battersea Power Station means to the local community, this installation followed our collaboration with Battersea Power Station, 'Together We Rise' -  an artwork featuring over 100 flags suspended from the ceilings in the landmark's historic turbine halls, depicting the journey through sunrise and sunset with bright colours and bold designs.
