Bexleyheath High Streets For All – Engagement

As part of the Bexleyheath High Streets For All project, POoR worked on the engagement programme. Over a series of intergenerational workshops hosted at various schools across Bexleyheath, POoR upskilled local people while learning what they would like to see happen in their area. During these sessions, local people were asked about the city centre and what they would like to see change, be removed, or be added. The feedback from these workshops helped to contribute to the recovery and delivery of plans for Bexleyheath’s high street.

These sessions helped to bridge the gaps between different members of Bexleyheath’s community empowering them and platforming their voices. This saw conversations and dialogue groups that do not typically interact with one another. This focused set of engagement initiatives resulted in several public events and activities throughout the spring and summer.
