MillerKnoll Workshop
What does the school of the future look like? What items would you have in the classroom of the future? Will students still be reading from books in a 100 years time? These are all questions that POoR asked students from Harris City Academy Crystal Palace’s sixth-form during a creative model making workshop.
For this project POoR delivered a design session in collaboration with MillerKnoll and Ok Mentor at the Herman Miller showroom in Central London. During this workshop, students were asked to create models of the classroom and school of the future after watching a presentation about futuristic architecture and design. Students also created sketches and presented their thoughts and ideas back to the wider group at the end of the day. The workshop turned into a lighthearted competition with the winning team winning stylish hot water bottles.
